Reliable and over-performing red from star Spanish winemaker Telmo Rodriguez. Ripe bramble fruits – blackberries, blueberries, plums – with a touch of pepper, spice and eucalyptus. Medium – full.

Mouvedre is often found in the Rhone but here it is as Monastrell in Alicante on the coast of Southern Spain.
