Joyously perfumed Nero d’Avola, a million miles form the overripe styles by many of their Sicilian peers. The family’s 100 hectares of organic vineyards are located high up in the hills above Alcamo. Wild yeast, no sulphur, no fining, no filtration. Chewy plum character, herbal with peppery tannins and very gluggable.
