Dolcetto is a lesser known yet important Piedmontese grape. Not as esteemed Nebbiolo but nevertheless possesses the ability to produce wonderfully pure, pleasure giving wines with immense drinkability. No oak here, just a perfect expression of this bright, fresh, fruity varietal. A session wine, if you will. A most useful red to have in your rack at all times.
