Brilliantly inexpensive Pinot Noir from an iconic producer in the Languedoc. Not normally found in this region, but when well made, as this is, you get classic pinot characters – cherries, raspberries and a bit of vegetal – in wonderful, early drinking abundance. It’s not complex per se, but you don’t’ always want complex, sometimes you want simplicity and deliciousness and youth. You could chill this a little if you wish too. The all there is to do is glug on.
