Organic Nerello on volcanic limestone from the western edge of Sicily. Nerello thrives well in hot, arid regions and produces suitably soft and sunny wines. This isn’t a profound example but it delivers an approachable and uncomplicated glass of Sicilian warmth, an explosion of ripe red fruits and a touch of spice. And sometimes, that is just what is required.
