Leafy, flinty, deeply mineral Sauvignon Blanc from Pouilly Fumé in the Loire. A world away from the some of the tropical fruit-bombs from the new world, this has a restrained, nuanced almost savoury quality and quite a taut, linear mouthfeel. Citrus, green pepper and pears.
