Classic Rioja, aged in American and French barrels or 12 months. Fleshy plums, ripe damson and subtly sweet vanilla and mint from the oak. Now 10 years old it’s developing savoury tertiary characters – rustic leathery notes and a meaty umami. An over-performer for both its price and Crianza status.
